If you are looking for a family friendly campsite, Hafnarfjörður Camping is the place for you. We are situated in a beautiful park near the town centre of Hafnarfjörður, in a quiet and cosy area. The campsite is close to all services, shopping and many tourist attractions. City buses stop nearby, as well as the bus to Keflavik international airport. For those of you travelling by car, the airport is only a 30-minute away.
The campsite is open from the 1st of May to the 31st of September.

Policies
Ferðbúinn ehf. (kt.630293-3329) manages the campsite and is responsible for the services provided here.
- Children under the age of 18 cannot camp alone and must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
- Respect other guests by limiting noise.
- Pay for each night in advance; otherwise, you will lose your spot.
- Cars have to be parked in the parking lot (if they are not being slept in).
- We do not offer long-term spots; the maximum stay is 7 nights.
- Campfires are not allowed.
- Leave valuables at your own risk.
- Dogs must be on a leash.
- Smoking and cooking are not allowed in the facility house.
- We ask that you put your trash in the dumpster that’s located on the hill above the facility house.
- Do not drive on the tent spot.
- You agree to be recorded with the security cameras that are located at the entrance and with the license plate scanner that opens the gate.
- You agree to let us email you the receipt and information about the campsite.
- Customers are allowed to cancel their reservation up until 24 hours before the scheduled booking time and will get a full refund, excluding a 500 ISK cancellation fee.
- In the case of a shortened stay, a 50% refund is issued for the time remaining on the booking. One night is subtracted from the total refund if the stay is shortened after the local check-in time begins.
- Guests must bring a printed receipt or a digital copy on a mobile device to present the receipt to the campsite staff on request.
- Guests may start setting up camp after 13:00. If the situation allows, the operator may authorize setting up camp earlier.
- Guests must leave the campsite before 11:00. If the situation allows, the operator may authorize delayed check-outs.
- The maximum capacity for each spot is 6 people, ages 13 and older. (Children aged 12 years and younger do not count towards the maximum capacity). If the number of guests travelling together exceeds
- the capacity, additional spots must be reserved.
- It is strictly forbidden to resell campsite reservations.
- Your reservation may be charged anytime after confirming the booking.
- All prices include VAT
- These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Icelandic law. If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, unenforceable or non-binding, all other provisions remain valid. Any dispute arising out of these general terms and conditions and our services shall exclusively be submitted to the competent courts in
Iceland.
Please note that you need to have a long cord to use electricity in zone C, you connect to it from zone B across the driveway.
